Art Attack

Mark was asked to make a sand sculpture of George and the Dragon for the popular ITV kids television program Art Attack. He was given a brief to show the process of sand sculpting from start to finish. Two carvers worked on the sand sculpture for about ten hours each. The process was filmed in April 2006 and will be aired in September 2006. For a photo shoot, Mark only carves to 180 degrees which gives him the maximum time to achieve his aims in the minimum time given. As Art Attack presenter Neil Buchanan would say, "Here’s one I made earlier."
