Selfridges & Co.
Mark was commissioned to carve a sand sculpture for Selfridges & Co back in 2002. The sculpture was designed to promote Lancaster cosmetics. Selfridges is home to innovative shopping, with leading brands ranging from fashion to furniture, beauty and food. Mark created a sand sculpture of a woman for a display in the beauty department. It took two weeks to build and was designed as a promotion for Lancaster cosmetics. Selfridges is renowned for its pioneering window displays, and is home to over one million products in a vibrant and cutting edge environment. The store is strongly associated with arts and design, and Mark is one of many artists and designers who have created displays for Selfridges.
