The Times

Mark made a sand sculpture for The Times in June 1995. This well-known national newspaper is published daily in the United Kingdom by Times Newspapers Limited. They wanted a sand sculptor to reproduce the painting “The Lookout”. His sculpture was used for a Sunday supplement which went alongside the theme of arts and the coast in the UK. It was built on Weymouth Beach using Weymouth sand. The Times is owned by the News Corporation group, which is run by Rupert Murdoch.
